Here at Golden Maids, we’ve been in business for over 19 years. We are proud to say we are the best-rated cleaning provider in Milwaukee.
Every housekeeper who cleans for us is an employee. We do not contract our work out and all of our employees are fully screened.
Yes, we do a full background check on every employee that is hired.
Absolutely. We encourage all of our satisfied customers to refer their friends and family and we reward you with 50% off a cleaning per referral.
Yes, our company is both insured and bonded and we prioritize our customer’s safety above all else.
We accept a variety of payment methods including credit cards and electronic payments using Zelle.
When you get our cleaning service, we expect you to pay on the day of cleaning.
No, we don’t do contracts. Every customer is free to cancel at any time with at least 24 hours notice.
No, we aren’t a franchise. We are independently owned and operated and a family run business.
We care about all of your pets. If you have a cat, that is typically not an issue. While dogs are usually good when they are around our housekeepers, some of them can get nervous or scared and react due to the loud sounds of a vacuum. Because of this, we recommend keeping your dogs away or kenneled during cleaning service for the safety of both your pet(s) and our housekeepers.
You certainly can be, but no, you don’t have to be home during your cleaning service. If you need to go run some errands or are at work, it’s not an issue.
We want the very best for every one of our customers. Because of this, we recommend that you provide us with the cleaning equipment we will be using. This includes a vacuum, a brush, and a brush for your toilets. That way, we can use your supplies and we don’t cross-contaminate your home with our other client’s homes. This allows us to sanitize your home as well as possible.
If you are going to skip a cleaning service, we need to be notified at least a full 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning service. If you end up skipping a service within less than 24 hours, we will add $45 to your next cleaning bill. We suggest that you mark your scheduled cleaning on your calendar so you don’t forget.
You will be able to change your cleaning service to another day. Please contact us to give more than 24 hours of notice.
While customary, you certainly don’t have to. Tips are never required or expected. They are appreciated though. If you feel our housekeeper performed his/her duties above expectations, a tip would be very appreciated.
We offer multiple cleaning services. Our Deluxe and General service differ in level of cleanliness and what is actually cleaned. Our Top to Bottom Deluxe cleaning service is typically used by first-time customers or customers looking for deep annual cleaning. The general cleaning is usually a maintenance cleaning for our recurring customers.
As a company, we have a policy to not keep keys in our possession. We would rather you provide us with a code that we can use for entry. If not possible, we ask that you have a lockbox that we can access for entry.
If we cannot get in, you will be charged 50 percent of your regular quote. We will make an effort to come on another day, but we cannot promise you will get the same housekeeper.
We make every effort to accommodate your schedule. We can work together to find something that works for you.
