Located in Waukesha County, Menomonee Falls is “more than a village.”

With a population of over 35,000 people, it’s a small city with a big heart. Located on the Menomonee River, the city is named after the falls that are located just south of the Main Street Bridge in the Lime Kiln Park.

In the Milwaukee area, one of the things that stick in people’s mind is the jingle that was used for decades by Ernie von Schledhorn’s car dealership, which featured the words, “Main Street in Menomonee Falls.” That jingle is remembered by anyone who lived in the Milwaukee area in the last 40 years.
